NicholasI have worked in various fields where teaching and training was an important part of the job. This includes my work as an EMT, where I trained students and those with many years of experience on how to understand and excel in what they are learning. I believe practical experience is not optional, and create lessons that allow the student to gain a full understanding of what we are studying. I completed my bachelor's at the University of Buffalo, where I majored in Aerospace Engineering. I am currently earning a master's in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University. Â Among the subjects, I tutor students in are Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Algebra 3/4, College Algebra, Calculus 1-3, Elementary through middle school Math, Finite Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Trigonometry, Python, Technology and Computer Science, Art, Discrete Math, and Homework Support, including Organization and Study Skills. I understand the importance and need for test prep, and help students get ready for the GRE, including Writing, Verbal, and Quantitative skills necessary for the test they take. When I'm not working with students, I'm active and love to go biking or rock climbing, including ice climbing. I have an artistic side and enjoy photography as well. I also dabble in robotics.

CherubI have experience teaching in Ghana, which essentially uses the British system of education, as well as teaching in the US. There are benefits to each of these systems, and I like to combine them as a tutor to help students experience the most possible success. I didn't start out with much, so I'm very motivated and goal oriented. I was driven to complete my GED, my bachelor's degree in biological science, and my post baccalaureate, and I'm currently studying medicine at the University of Buffalo. I've been very successful, and I feel a responsibility to give back to the less fortunate. I currently volunteer for a health program where I help people in underprivileged communities learn about healthy lifestyles. I'm very patient, determined, and compassionate, and I have a positive outlook. I believe that these qualities are essential in a good tutor. I faced many setbacks in my life, but I persevered, and I can share this sentiment with my students to help them stay motivated to be successful. I was the first member of my family to earn a college degree, and I helped my brother become the second. When I have free time, I enjoy playing tennis and volleyball, dancing, cooking, and mentoring.

BrandonMy belief is that education should be just as fun as it is rewarding. If it wasn't fun, I wouldn't have devoted my life to it. I am currently earning my Ph.D. in Philosophy, focusing on Environmental Ethics. I have also studied English and have my Bachelor and Master's degrees in English Literature. Additionally, I have taught English as well as philosophy courses in college for over five years. I cover topics such as critical thinking, research, ethics, public speaking, and writing. These are all topics that I love and I am deeply passionate about. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and love for learning with my students. When I am not teaching or tutoring, you can find me hunting, fishing, and studying American history.
