NatalieEvery student must confront a unique set of learning obstacles, and it is my job as a tutor to identify and address them! I find that academic material sticks best when it is related to a student's life, especially a hobby or interest of theirs. For instance, a student struggling with reading may benefit from reading something they're interested in, rather than whatever is on their school's reading list. I strive to help students forge a connection with the material they are studying to promote better retention! I am comfortable with a broad array of academic subjects, including ACT Prep, World Religions, English Grammar and Syntax, Study Skills, and the Social Sciences. Outside of the classroom, I'm passionate about hobbies such as reading, creative writing, health, science fiction, and studying other cultures. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

ChrisI am a musician with two decades of experience teaching, touring, and playing. I believe that learning to play a musical instrument can help individuals find a way to define themselves through the instrument they choose to play and through making music. I have a passion for helping students learn to find their creative side via music. My specialty is teaching rock music and the guitar is my instrument of choice. I am qualified to teach both young students and adults both music and guitar, and I hope to hear from you. Besides my interest in music, I enjoy surfing, reading, and community outreach. I work in the field of fisheries science, and I like to spend quality time with my family during my non-working hours.
