NathanI'm an undergraduate student at the University of Central Florida studying statistics. I'm considering continuing my education and becoming a college professor. As a student, I'm the one my peers approached whenever they had trouble understanding something that is taught in the classroom. This is helped me develop the ability to explain concepts in ways that are easier to understand, and also helped me develop an appreciation for helping others learn. It's very rewarding to see students understand the concept that they struggled with. I can tutor students in subjects like algebra one, calculus one through three, geometry, elementary math, middle school math, pre-calculus, statistics, algebra two, physics, history, economics, pre-algebra, AP calculus, AP statistics, social studies, business, and others. When I have spare time, I like to listen to music, sing, and play video games. I also enjoy sports.

HassanI'm attending the University of Central Florida for my bachelor's degree in computer science. I have a strong academic background in math, and I've always excelled at it. I enjoy helping students work through learning obstacles by explaining concepts in ways students can understand and helping them develop their own learning skills. I'm comfortable tutoring algebra one, calculus one through three, geometry, elementary math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, algebra two, computer science, pre-algebra, C++ and Java, statistics, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, FCAT 2.0, and more. In my spare time I enjoy programming for fun, playing tennis, playing video games, and watching movies.

CarolineI'm a Tulane University student who loves tutoring. I currently volunteer at an elementary school, intern at an art gallery, and tutor primarily ACT preparation. I've been helping students prepare for the ACT for over a year. I help students with test taking strategies, drilling on subject materials covered on the tests, and time management strategies. I also provide moral support and help them develop confidence in their abilities. This alleviates test anxiety and helps students feel prepared. A lot of ACT students feel the exam is a necessary evil, so I focus on providing sessions that are interesting and engaging so that students look forward to studying with me. I also like to form a connection with my students and get to know them personally so I'm seen as a mentor and friend who cares about their success, which is absolutely true. I'm looking forward to helping students maximize their score and achieve success. In my free time, I enjoy learning for fun, reading, illustration, and art.
