I am currently earning my master's degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I also have a bachelor's degree in psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University. I have an extensive background, and I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with others. I know that science can be time-consuming and frustrating to learn. I love helping my students master the tough concepts and get confident in their abilities. In addition to science, I can help with test prep such as GRE, ACT, and SAT. Earning better scores on these exams can be accomplished through repetition and practice. In my free time, I like cooking, reading, hiking, and running.Education

I graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in business. I also completed a JD at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. My experience in education has taught me that there are some basic principles that can be applied to education no matter what level an individual is at. I always performed well in academics, but I really took off when I figured out exactly what I was passionate about. Before I knew what I wanted to do with my life, I was just kind drifting along without any real purpose. My goal as a tutor is to help students find their purpose and motivate them to really put the maximum amount of effort into their studies.Education

I am a self-taught musician, and have been musically inclined as long as I can remember. I started out playing the upright bass at a young age, and then learned the guitar and bass. At the same time, I learned classical, twelve string, and some flamenco styles. I've performed in symphonies and I've performed in rock'n'roll bands. My tastes are eclectic, and I enjoy spending time with a variety of students, tutoring them on various instruments and music theory, and working with them to learn whichever style or genre they are interested in. No two lessons are the same, as no two students are the same. Other than music, I am interested in traveling and reading.Subjects
