RebeccaI started tutoring as an undergraduate student studying education. Initially tutoring was a requirement in my program, but I really came to love the one-on-one approach and individualized attention to learning that tutoring provides. I have helped students in a number of subjects, including different STEM-related courses, as well as helping students get their GED. After gaining some experience as an educator in the classroom, I decided to be an educator full-time. I was motivated by helping students achieve their goals. I can tutor algebra, nutrition, geometry, physical science, elementary school math, middle school math, public speaking, trigonometry, chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, life sciences, microbiology, ecology, environmental science, Latin, reading, writing, psychology, study skills and organization, marine biology, biomedical engineering, and more. I can also help students prepare for the ACT and other exams. When I have free time, I enjoy watching movies, doing crafts, doing yoga, and cooking.

HariI have a bachelor's in finance and marketing, a master's in business administration with majors in finance and managements, and a juris doctorate. I took and passed the Florida Bar Exam. My professional experience is primarily in finances. I am a finance tutor, though I am also able to teach math, social studies, English, business, and other subjects. I can help my students work through their homework or to prepare for an upcoming SAT. My tutoring style focuses on customizing their lesson plan to suit their individual needs while factoring in their personality, goals, learning requirements, and strengths. Every student has their own way of learning and it is my job to meet those needs. Anyone can master a subject if they are given the right instruction and tools. I aim to prepare a student with a strong foundation in the basics to prepare them for the more complex concepts ahead. Mastery requires that a student thoroughly understands a concept before progressing onwards. This makes flexible pacing vital to the learning process. In my free time, I work for the community and volunteer for a variety of local organizations. I am a yoga teacher at a local center as well.

Cody MicahI'm a tutor who is based out of Orlando, Florida, who enjoys programming, hiking, and cooking when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida, and can tutor students in a wide variety of courses. Some of the subjects I've previously worked with students in include math, English, geometry, and standardized test preparation. I have a deep passion for helping others, which is what initially led me to the field of tutoring. As an undergraduate student, I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to work with over a hundred students in a variety of subject areas. I found through this experience that each student requires a different approach when trying to convey a lesson. This helped me to develop my belief that each student deserves an individualized, targeted lesson plan that's suited specifically to address their areas of need. Helping students finally find their breakthrough moment is truly one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. I plan to one day continue my education with a master's in public health, but I will always continue working with students. I hope I can use the skills I've spent my career developing to help you get the most out of your academic career.
