My first time tutoring was when I was a high school student. I was a peer mentor for freshmen students and assisted them with physics and geometry coursework. I also worked with my students to help them develop positive and helpful test-taking and study habits. I strive to help students feel confident and comfortable with their course materials. This experience as a tutor and mentor helped me grow as a person, as well as an educator. I have four years of tutoring experience and have worked with a diverse range of students. When I am not tutoring, I study mathematics and comparative human development at the University of Chicago.Education

I am earning my bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I started tutoring when I was a sophomore in high school. I helped students with essay editing, biology, algebra, chemistry, calculus, geometry, Spanish, and trigonometry. There are numerous other subjects I can help with as well. I truly discovered my love for learning while working as a teacher's assistant through a non-profit organization that helps minority children. I am passionate about what I do, and I am very caring and patient. I hope to use my knowledge and unique teaching style to help others with the topics I specialize in. When I am not tutoring and teaching, I enjoy running, swimming, coding, and reading.Education

I am student at the University of Chicago who is currently pursuing their Master of Arts in social sciences. I am focusing on political theory. Before I moved to Chicago to receive my master's degree, I studied at the University of Cambridge. From the University of Cambridge, I earned a Bachelor of Arts and graduated with honors. I started working as a tutor in 2012, and am fueled by the opportunity to help students grow as independent learners and feel more confident in their studies. Not only do I have experience as a one-on-one tutor, but I also worked as a teaching assistant at Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.Education
