NicholasI have a passion for science, as I always have, and I enjoy the opportunities I have to pass this interest along to the students I tutor. I earned my Bachelor of Science in chemistry at Truman State University, and went on to earn my PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. I have been tutoring students in chemistry, including organic chemistry, biology, and also Spanish. In addition, I can tutor students preparing to take standardized tests like the ACT or SAT, among others. I believe in integrating all aspects of education into a complete whole. For example, science and math are inextricably linked, and English skills are necessary to discuss these subjects.

MichaelHi, my name is Michael. I'm a tutor who has a bachelor's degree in biological systems engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. I'm also currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where I'm specializing in chemical engineering. Given my academic background, I can help students with subjects like calculus, algebra, chemical engineering, and other math and science courses. As a grad student, I work with the subjects I tutor every day, which helps keep my knowledge of these topics fresh. If you could use some help with one of your math or science courses, consider reaching out to me. I'd love to work with you.
