NoahI'm attending Case Western Reserve University to earn my mechanical engineering and international studies degrees. My international studies degree has a Latin American development concentration. I have a strong academic background in science, math, government, history, and Spanish. I've also had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Chile. I have five years of tutoring experience to date. I started tutoring in high school as a member of the National Honor Society, and I've continued tutoring as a college student. I know how to adjust my approach to match the needs of each student, and I can identify their primary learning methodology so that I can teach them in the way that is most effective. Outside of school, I enjoy volunteering, being active in my fraternity, sports, travel, and reading.

KateI'm a Case Western Reserve University seeking degrees in astronomy and physics. I'm looking forward to attending graduate school once I complete my undergraduate studies to earn a master's degree in education. I have a lot of informal tutoring experience throughout my academic career, assisting siblings and peers with various subjects. I got my first formal tutoring experience as a member of the math honor society in high school, where I tutored classmates and other peers in various math disciplines. I enjoy tutoring students in math because there are a lot of different ways to present information but only one answer. I like to figure out which learning style a student has and which approach I can use to help them learn most effectively. I also enjoy assisting students in English tasks such as essay writing and literary analysis. In addition, I do very well on standardized tests, and I can provide students with test taking skills and tips to help them increase their scores. One other thing to know about me is that I have ADHD, and I have had to learn to deal with this throughout my academic career. I can assist students with similar learning disabilities to help them develop time management and organizational skills so that they can be effective in their learning. Students with these issues can be just as good or better than their counterparts with grades and test scores. In my free time, I like to draw, paint, skate, listen to music, and serve as a theater tech.

JasmineI'm attending Cleveland State University to earn my undergraduate degree in special education. I started tutoring as a high school student, when I enrolled in a community college program that allowed me to assist students at the K - 12 level in various subjects. As a college student, I've studied how to handle different learning needs and disabilities in the classroom, and I'm comfortable working with students at all ages, levels of ability, and needs. I can tutor a wide variety of different subjects, but my favorites are writing and math. I was someone who had a hard time with math myself, so I had to figure out how I learned best. I enjoy helping students identify these unique learning approaches that help them understand subjects in math. I want to help my students embrace challenges instead of being afraid, so I work to help them become confident in their abilities and enjoy learning. In my free time, I've been dancing for 15 years, and I still love it. I also like playing video games, watching anime, knitting, making jewelry, baking desserts, exercising, running, and travel.
