VanessaI'm a chemist in the pharmaceutical industry, and I'm also an illustrator of chemistry textbooks. I attended the University of South Florida for my bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences, and then I went on to the University of Florida for my master's degree in pharmaceutical chemistry. I'm very experienced in science subjects such as biochemistry, pharmacology, chemistry, and biology. I'm also certified to teach in the state of Florida, and I published a textbook for visual chemistry learners. I enjoy working with visual learners as a tutor as well. I customize my lessons to the needs of my student and their learning style, and I use a lot of visual resources. I also work collaboratively with my students to help them understand science topics and achieve success. When I have free time, I enjoy being a mom and surfing.

TanyaI am passionate about ancient history, especially ancient Egypt. My love of ancient history led me to get my bachelor's degree in Archaeology and the Ancient World. However, before that, I was considering majoring in English. I did end up taking two years of AP English in high school and numerous creative writing and English literature classes in college. Additionally, I really enjoyed classes such as Literature and the Fantastic. I would love to help students who are struggling in English, reading, or writing. I love discussing my passion for grammar and writing with students. Talking to people is something that I enjoy and I have found that people respond better to a teacher who will really talk to them. I believe that a student learns better if they develop and find their own learning style. It is my job as a tutor to help them find the style that helps them best. I also believe that we just need to find a common ground to help form that connection between the student and the subject. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and bowling.

SusanaI'm a native Spanish speaker originally from Peru. I've spent the past 15 years in the United States, and I love teaching Spanish. I had the opportunity to work with everyone from small children to adults, including couples looking to improve their communication skills and relationship. I get along well with students across all levels of ability and across all ages, and I'm an excellent communicator. I'm also a TV and radio personality. In addition to tutoring Spanish, I can also tutor English language learners and TOEFL. In my free time, I enjoy blogging, traveling, riding my bike, and doing yoga. I also run several self-improvement groups for single mothers.
