RyanI have earned my associate degree in Liberal Arts/ English at Quincy College, and went on to earn my bachelor's degree in English Literature at Western New England University. Now I'm headed to UMass in Boston to take my master's. Reading and writing have always been my favorite subjects. I absolutely love literature, especially the classics such as Shakespeare and other Victorian era literature. Another passion of mine is sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for literature with others. I'm available to tutor English for middle school through college age students, and a variety of literature subjects. I like my tutoring sessions to be fun, which I feel engages my students and helps them learn more effectively.

PatrickI volunteered to tutor in high school and have been at it ever since. Math is my subject and I can help you with everything from elementary school arithmetic to algebra, geometry, and trigonometry up to multivariable calculus and differential equations. In addition to college-level math, I help students with English and test prep, including ACT prep, SAT prep, SAT Math, SAT Reading, and SAT Writing and Language. I am passionate about helping students learn math, having been inspired by educators who have gone the distance for students. A math and statistics double major at Johns Hopkins University, I am fascinated by Hungarian methods of math education and enjoy logic puzzles, reading, and running.

MelissaTeaching students is more than just a career for me. It's a chance for me to develop creative lessons designed to help students learn in a one-on-one atmosphere as we work through tough subjects together. I currently teach elementary school, but have worked with a variety of grades for the past ten years. Besides working directly with students, I am a teacher leader, and help others in the education field with professional development. I can tutor students in Elementary and Middle school subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, and Phonics. I also assist with test prep for the SSAT and PRAXIS. I'm a graduate of Providence College where I earned my B.A. in Elementary School Teaching. I then went on to complete my graduate degree at the University of Scranton, where I focused on Curriculum and Instruction.
