RobinI tutor students in French, Spanish, and English subjects. I spent 40 years living in Latin America, where I've achieved fluent Spanish skills. I can teach others English as a Second Language, or ESL, as well. As a tutor, my goal is to motivate, encourage, and challenge my students to accomplish their academic goals. I base every tutoring session around their individual needs while focusing on building their understanding in the areas they are struggling in the most. Tutoring should allow the student the opportunity to thrive, building their knowledge and developing invaluable skills for success. I work hard to provide an immersive and engaging experience, two qualities that are important to solid language development. I might assign students television shows to watch or books to read in their target language. I provide the ideal dialogue partner, offering valuable guidance in pronunciation, grammar, and phonics. I can work with my students to write and edit a solid essay in one of these languages, as well as prepare them for their tests as they arise. When I'm not tutoring or learning a new language, I can typically be found outside. I have a thriving garden, a love for hiking, and a large library.

MichaelI haven't always loved math, but I learned to develop a passion for it overtime. As a tutor, I want to develop a love of learning math and students as well. I'm entirely familiar with what it's like to hit a wall when you're trying to learn a new and difficult topic in math, but I've develop skills and discipline that I can instill in students to help them overcome their obstacles. I believe from my own experience that I can help any student build a better understanding and appreciation of math. Currently, I'm attending Oklahoma State University - Tulsa, where I'm studying math and computer science.
