KeanuI have recently been working as a physical therapy aide, helping patients of all ages to perform functional movements and reach their health goals. This experience has transformed me into a more patient and encouraging person, skills I hope to put to use as a private tutor! I have a bit of a guilty pleasure to confess: I actually enjoy standardized exams. I know it sounds weird, but when I sat down recently to take the GRE (a test similar in structure to the SAT but harder), I found myself having fun. I have plenty of test-taking tips to share if you're preparing for a big test, some of which I would have loved to know when I was in the student's shoes! My style as a teacher is best encapsulated by the following terms: supportive, innovative, professional, easy-going, conversational, big picture learning, and studying efficiently. If you're interested in investing in your education, I hope to help you reach your academic goals!

CameronI completed a bachelor's degree in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics at the University of California Los Angeles. I am available to tutor students in several science related subject areas, including basic science, microbiology, and biology. I have experience being taught in many different ways by many different people. This experience has helped me to understand that each student understands material in a different fashion. As a result, this is something I keep in mind while I'm teaching so that I can adapt the way I teach to fit in with whatever method will work best for each individual student. Outside of academics, I enjoy bowling, travelling, playing video games, and working out.
