TrevorI earned my master's in education at the Notre Dame College. I then continued my education to prepare to pass the mild/moderate intervention specialist k-12 state licensing test. My experience as an educator is varied. I've taught privately, in classroom groups, and in personalized education. I love tutoring students, as it encompasses both the role of tutor and of mentor. I enjoy tutoring students both during the school year and over the summer. I am experienced in working with students with disabilities, as well as have a solid understanding of the struggles that come with learning disabilities. I was diagnosed in elementary school, struggling to keep up in my language arts classes. As a result, I learned the value of hard work, dedication, and perseverance in learning. I work with my students to make the subject as fun and interesting as possible. I use a variety of learning tools, such as games and music, to make my sessions engaging. I aim to find the best way to tutor to the individual's specific learning style, as well as finding ways to keep their attention. In my free time, I enjoy photographing nature while on my walks. I love to read, bowl, and exercise.

TahirI've been to graduate school and I've studied medicine, so I'm fully aware of how difficult learning new and complex topics can be. I know how beneficial it can be to have a mentor to help you develop confidence in a topic and guide you through your obstacles. I've tutored everyone from small children to postgraduate students, but I've learned that anybody who wants to succeed can. I can help with a vast array of complex topics, including biology, cardiology, microbiology, sociology, chemistry, MCAT preparation, study skills, AP courses, and other disciplines within math, science, and medicine.

JeremyI'm a tutor who is based out of Cleveland, Ohio, where I enjoy riding my motorcycle, woodworking, and playing pool when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I'm a current undergraduate student in mathematics at Cleveland State University. As a tutor, I'm able to provide lessons in a variety of math-related coursework. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in geometry, algebra 1, calculus 1, and elementary math, amongst other things. I believe that every person should have access to a quality education. Unfortunately, often our educational system does not allow for this. That's where I come in as a tutor. I strive to help those who are struggling in math and who don't otherwise have an avenue to fix their problems. I've taught calculus courses as a STEM Peer Teacher at my undergraduate school, which gave me some great experience in teaching others complex math topics. As a tutor, I'm patient, flexible, and willing to work with my students on whatever they need help with. I'm looking forward to working with you to help you make the most of your education.
