ViolaI began working as a tutor during my first year of high school and decided I enjoyed it and wanted to continue down this path. I love taking my students and transforming them from frustrated individuals to success stories, as they excel in their studies. I go through the introduction of different concepts and help students gauge how comfortable they are with the subject matter. I use this to determine if they need additional help in what we learn together. I'm currently a student myself and studying at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I'm majoring in Computer Science. I specialize in Math but can help students in a variety of subjects. These range from Geometry, Algebra 1-2. Pre-Algebra, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, English, Writing, Grammar, Social Studies, Geography, French, Languages, Pre-Calculus, Reading, Vocabulary, and getting ready for the PSAT and ACT. I offer homework support and AP tutoring for students who are taking advanced classes but still need help. I have many interests outside of tutoring that includes volunteering at animal shelters, getting outside and running, cooking, writing, and being artistic. I love to draw and sketch, and enjoy painting in my spare time when I can.

JasmineToward the beginning of my studies, I was granted an opportunity to teach ESL courses for two years. I as of now fill in as an ELL coach at a nearby school in Ohio area. I've also been involved in a New York City global English camp. During my time there, I've completed five different projects, and I held the places of ESL Instructor and Program Coordinator. My enthusiasm for showing English and social trade, in the end, drove me to Russia. While there, I instructed English to kindergarteners and young people. Moreover, I have worked with English dialect students from a heap of nations, including as nearby as Mexico, and as far away as Russia. Subsequently, I recognize and welcome the opportunity of being socially delicate to my student's capabilities and culture other than my own. I am earning a master's degree in TESOL. Currently, I'm a student at Kent State University. I help students expand their knowledge through ESL/ELL, Reading, Phonics, English, Essay Editing, Grammar, TOEFL, high school and College English. When I'm not working with students and helping them learn, I love to travel to different parts of the world and country. I also love cooking different dishes and playing a game of volleyball.

AshleyI'm a tutor who is based out of Cleveland, Ohio, where I enjoy cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors on hikes with my family. As a tutor, I'm able to work with students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in algebra, writing, social studies, and biology, amongst other things. I've always been very passionate about working with young people. This passion dates back to when I was a pre-teen babysitting younger kids for hours on end. As I became more educationally mature in high school and college, my passion translated into tutoring students who were my age or younger. During this time I worked with these students in all subject areas. Now, I've continued exploring this passion as a middle school teacher. I love my job because it gives me the opportunity to see firsthand when a student finally has a breakthrough moment in a subject area that's been plaguing them for awhile. I love tutoring for this same reason. I strive to provide each of my students with individualized lesson plans that help them overcome their problem areas.
