ShoutHi, my name is Shout. I'm a tutor who has a bachelor's degree in jazz studies from Loyola University in New Orleans. I've been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. As a tutor, I hope to provide my students with the skills they need to discover the joy of playing music for themselves. I can help those seeking some extra guidance in composition, audition preparation, trombone, songwriting, and more. Consider reaching out to me if you'd like to set up a tutoring session that covers one of these topics. Private tutoring may be just what you need to get more out of the academic opportunities you're pursuing.

KeziaAbout a decade ago, I earned my bachelor's degree in philosophy from Yale University. I have done a great deal of tutoring for students of all ages in various settings and in a wide variety of subjects. I've tutored elementary through college age students, and even adults, in subjects like science, math, English/ language arts, and the social sciences, among many others. I have worked with students who have both learning and behavioral challenges and helped them achieve goals beyond their expectations. When tutoring, I focus on finding and using the student's natural strengths to build up the areas where they are facing challenges. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, hiking, and camping.

JaneceI have a master's in Elementary Education and am certified to teach students in grades K-8 in a traditional classroom setting. I have four years of teaching experience, six years of tutoring experience, and ten years of babysitting experience, so I know how to approach education in the traditional way. However, I am currently taking a break from it in pursuit of a position that would allow me to work more closely with a small group or even individual students. I believe that relationship-driven teaching is the best path towards a student's goals, and it's impossible to deliver in a crowded classroom. If you're interested in a personalized curriculum that works for you and your family, I'm here to help! I'm comfortable working with a variety of subjects, including College English, Elementary School Math, Test Prep, High School Writing, and Math.
