After earning my bachelor's degree in history from Auburn University, I headed to Marquette University, where I am currently finishing my my master's degree in European history and beginning my PhD work in history. I've been tutoring students for more than five years, including a year I spent teaching in Latvia. I intend to teach for a career, and have found that I am pretty good at it. I always strive to make learning fun for my students, which matches my goofy outlook, and helps engage them in the subject. I have a number of strategies for helping students learn material, and I use whichever ones work with each unique student.Education
