ValeriyaI'm originally from Russia, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in geography from Texas A&M University in College Station. My belief is that to understand another culture, it is imperative to learn the language. The way people speak, the specific words they use, and even the order they use them in contain information on history, world outlook, and even the overall personality of a culture. This is why I am passionate about sharing my culture, and therefore my language, Russian, with students who are enthusiastic about learning them. I use a customized approach with each of my students, because everyone learns differently. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, drawing, and traveling.

NatMusic is my greatest passion since I was six years old. I can teach you everything about music and classical music, piano, and arrangement and composition. A composer, producer, and performer myself, I can approach teaching from a creative way and inspire my students to find joy and creativity in music. I received a turntable and three records from my parents as a child. Instantly, I began listening to The Beatles, Sonny and Cher, and Jean Sibelius as well as my mom's cassette tapes with Bach's Brandenburg Concertos and a recording of Brahms' Symphony #4 in E minor. Aside from music, I love film and, of course, my own children.

AimeeEverybody learns differently, and I feel that I can help any student access their academic potential. My approach is to get to know every client and design a customized program according to their needs. I discovered my passion for teaching as a student at Texas A&M by helping other students with their coursework. If the learning process is fun and engaging enough, there is no topic too difficult or too dense for a student to master! I graduated with a BS in Marine Biology, giving me a strong STEM knowledge base to work from. I am comfortable working with a variety of science-related subjects, including Biostatistics, Biology, Evolutionary Biology, Zoology, and Developmental Biology. In my spare time, I enjoy Scuba diving, hiking, yoga, art, reading, and writing. Please feel free to ask me any additional questions you may have!
