SanaI'm Sana, and I'm currently attending SUNY College at Buffalo to earn my bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. My tutoring experience mostly comes from volunteering, and I'm currently tutoring refugees. I really like helping people learn new things, and I'm excited to help you work towards your goals. In my free time, I like to play tennis and learn languages.

JasonI have my bachelor's degree in drama from Vassar College and a master's degree in linguistics from CUNY Graduate School and University Center. I have experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages from preschool through undergraduate. I love working with ESL students and students who have disabilities. I am also passionate about foreign languages, social science courses, and humanities. I have earned four gold medals for the National Latin Exam, so I can help students prepare for exam day. I have wanted to teach from an early age, and I am excited to help students reach their academic goals. In my free time, I like taking road trips, writing, reading, blogging, and the theater.

BenjaminWhile many teachers "teach to the test" and expect students to rely on rote memorization to get by, I stress a fundamental understanding of the concepts on the test. My approach can best be described as whatever it takes to maintain a given student's interest. If I can use a fun or silly analogy to illustrate an abstract concept, I will do so. If a student enjoys football or dance, I can relate academics to their hobbies to make them more interesting. I also have improvisation experience that makes an effective storyteller for students who learn kinesthetically. I have over 100 hours of professional tutoring experience, not counting the informal sessions I hosted as the "smart guy" other students looked to for help. I can work with students of all ages, ranging from middle schoolers to graduate students attending Stanford. However, I limit the number of students I work with to ensure that each gets enough attention. Therefore, my availability is limited.
