DavidI think teaching and tutoring ESL/ELL has been one of the most eye opening and enriching subjects to teach. I have had to develop many strategies to improve their language abilities and deliver the content that has to be taught. I believe in a quote that Frederick Douglas wrote "If there is no struggle, there is no progress." However, I don't' allow my pupils to struggle alone. I have a Bachelor of Political Science and right now I am a full-time seventh-grade civics teacher at Arlington Middle School. I have had this job for over two years. Before I began this position, I worked as a social studies teacher. During that time, I taught all three of the middle school social sciences. I have an ESL/ELL certification and have a lot of experience teaching pupils multiple languages. I am looking forward to meeting students and helping them overcome the barriers to their education. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me reading, riding bike, and watching movies.

CatherineI teach students with learning differences at the high school level in geometry and algebra. It's extremely rewarding to see students light up because they understand something, and I enjoy helping students find this kind of success. I'm looking forward to tutoring more students to help them reach this point. I tutor calculus, differential equations, AP calculus AB and BC, trigonometry, pre-calculus, geometry, algebra, special education, and other related subjects. In my spare time, I like to salsa dance, do Zumba, and attend the symphony.

BangquanI was originally born in China but moved to the United States 5 years ago. I have my Associates of Accounting from Florida State College at Jacksonville. My freshman year of college I had the opportunity to be a math tutor. Since that time I have continued to tutor and I have been tutoring math since then. While in college I was an assistant to the professor and got the chance to help students in the class with their math. I would stay in the classroom after class and help any students who needed help with the subject matter that had been covered in class. I enjoyed doing this so much that I wanted to continue tutoring. Tutoring math is my main area of concentration, but I also can tutor Mandarin Chinese. I also offer to tutor test prep for math on standardized tests. Aside from tutoring my interests include music and working out.
