KirillI'm a tutor who is based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I enjoy playing tennis, reading, and expanding my knowledge when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I've been playing tennis for 12 years, and was even part of several leagues while in college. I have my bachelor's degree in biophysics from Loyola University in Chicago. I'm currently gearing up to start my doctoral program in biophysics at the University of Pittsburgh. As a tutor, I'm able to help students with a variety of subjects related to math, science, and standardized test preparation. I'm very passionate about helping students understand math, physics, and biology, and the ACT. I love the feeling I get when I'm able to help a student finally reach a breakthrough moment in an area that they've been struggling with for awhile. I help students improve by providing individualized lesson plans that take their specific strengths and weaknesses into account. I offer targeted exercises to help my students improve their problem areas as fast as possible. If you think that I can help you get more out of your education, then please reach out. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your academic goals.

DanielleI'm a freelance tutor, editor, and writer. I'm currently writing test questions and passages for a workforce development test. My tutoring specialties are writing, English, history, social sciences, and test preparation. I worked with everyone from small children to graduate students, but the majority of my students are at the undergraduate or high school level. I have experience as a teacher at the college level leading a course in government and politics. I've also worked with students with learning differences. As a professional, I worked in public affairs and marketing. As a result, I've done many presentations, and I can tutor students in professional writing and public speaking. I went to the University of Akron for my master's degree in political science. I earned my undergraduate degree in political science from the same school. When I have free time, I enjoy trivia, spending time with my family and pets, getting outside to hike and fish, and reading.

BenjaminI earned a bachelor's degree in comprehensive physics from the University Washington - Seattle. My degree provided me with a lot of exposure to advanced topics in physics and math. I gained experience in tutoring and study groups, and I was able to help my fellow classmates improve their understanding of the material, which in turn helped me solidify my understanding as well. After I finished my undergraduate degree, I worked at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration collecting data from both the Internet and the sea itself. I also volunteered as a teaching assistant for a high school math course. This experience helped me understand how important it is to help students develop a strong understanding of the concept as opposed to just helping them find the right answer to a problem. I love math and science, and I enjoy being able to share my knowledge in these subjects. I see the world from a very analytical approach, and I can easily relay real world instances of concepts we learn about in science and math. When I have free time, I like to be active. I enjoy doing yoga, playing volleyball, playing ultimate Frisbee, and riding my longboard.
