PatriciaI am a professional teacher who earned my bachelor's degree in Education from Valdosta State University and now work in a low-income school district in Augusta, Georgia. Initially I spent two years working individually with students as a sign language interpreter, before deciding that I could make a greater impact becoming a full-time teacher and working with many students at the same time. Currently I teach middle school social studies and math and tutor older students in math fields up through algebra and trigonometry. One of my strengths is being able to tailor my lessons to individual students to help them learn best. When not teaching, I enjoy reading and playing with my pet chinchillas.

KatieMath is one of my passions, and I've been lucky enough to teach students in a variety of different mathematical disciplines. I've previously worked as a teacher and constantly looked for ways to expand the education of my students while encouraging them to learn in a way that meets their needs. I believe although some students find math difficult, it has the potential to change their lives and I hope they walk away from it with a love and appreciation for the subject. I work with students in Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, including AP Calculus. I'm a graduate of the University of San Diego, where I earned my BA in Mathematics. I then went on to Arizona State University, where I received a master's in Education.

CrystalI am a lifelong learner who has a passion for teaching as well as learning. I earned my bachelor's degree in Spanish from Yale University, and my master's in Education from Mercy College. I've been working as a teacher for more than 14 years, and enjoy imparting the love I have for learning to the next generations. My goal is always to light them up with enthusiasm and determination to solve the challenging tasks I set them.
