MarkI firmly believe that the next generation must take an active approach to learning, or everything we work for will go to waste. I really hope to inspire as many students as possible to continue on after high school and value the world we have around us. If I can reach through to even one student, I will feel like I have accomplished something. I tutor in math, reading, English, and more. I have a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida. I was in the top ten of my Engineering Magnet program at George Middleton High School, which inspired me to proceed with the engineering program at the university. My college GPA was 3.44. I aspire to someday work at Disney, focusing on animatronics and robotics. My honors thesis was on sensory relief rooms and introducing them to Disney parks so people who suffer from sensory disorders can enjoy the park as well. It is a topic I am passionate about and I hope to someday see it come true. When I am not tutoring, I can be found playing video games, soccer or paintball. I am very much looking forward to sharing my love of knowledge with as many students as possible.

JuanI speak Spanish natively, and I enjoy helping people learn about my language and culture. I help students work through the language barriers using a step-by-step approach. I attended Truman College for my associate degree in merchandising and marketing, and I've been lucky enough to teach Spanish for the last three years to people in the entertainment industry. I can conduct sessions that are interactive and adaptive, and I find out how the student learns best so that I can teach using a matching method. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, visiting the ocean, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

CourtneyI'm pursuing a secondary English education degree from the University of South Florida. I want to teach at the middle school level once I graduate. I believe education not only helps you learn subjects, but also helps you learn about yourself and helps you understand the world. For these reasons, I'm motivated to help students learn and develop personal skills. I've had the opportunity to work with students one-on-one and in classroom environments. I can tutor a number of different subjects, but my favorites are writing and literature. I can also help students with ESL and test preparation for the ISEE, SSAT, and other exams. In my free time, I like to read, play music, and spend time with loved ones.
