KyleI am a certified teacher in Illinois with endorsements for both Social Studies and Middle School Math. I work in a public school where I teach seventh grade math, 7th/8th grade Pre-Algebra, eighth grade Algebra I, and 9th/10th grade Geometry. I have also taught sixth grade math and English to high school freshmen in the past. Furthermore, I have been certified as a TOEFL instructor through international TEFL training. In fact, I once had the privilege of working as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand to help Thai instructors implement student-centered teaching strategies in their ESL courses. I have two degrees in Education (bachelor's in 2010, masters in 2015) and am comfortable teaching a variety of topics, from College American History to GED Prep. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy Research, Reading, Sports, Fitness, and Music. Please reach out if you think I might be the right tutor for you!
