MohammadWhen I was in high school, I took as many AP classes as I could, and earned an IB diploma, which is an International Baccalaureate Diploma. I went on to graduate magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida, and was awarded a Chancellor's scholarship to medical school. Basically, I identify as a successful student, and if that's not enough, I have an excellent history of test taking, including some very difficult national board exams such as the MCAT, COMLEX at the first and second level, and more. I am proud of this, but even more so of the fact that I have experience helping other students reach success in their studies. By sharing and applying my knowledge, I hope to give back, as it were, to students who are going through the rigors of academia that I have gone through myself. Not everyone who learns well can teach well, but I have found through experience that students are able to relate to me, and that I gain a lot of satisfaction from mentoring students in their classes, and in staying motivated to work towards academic success. I am able to tutor in a large variety of classes, especially in math and science.

CodyIt only took me three months of studying German to become fluent in the language. Once I was able to communicate effectively, I continued to study German for months afterwards. I fell in love with the language so much that I eventually lived in Germany for almost a full year. I studied at Valencia College as well as the University of North Florida. Other languages and cultures have always been a passion of mine and now I would love to share that passion with others. I have experience helping people learn languages and now I want to turn it into a full-time job, which is why I am pursuing tutoring. I currently reside in Florida and in my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and spending time with family and friends. Please do not hesitate to contact me for help with the German language, I would love to help!

ChristinaI attended the University of Central Florida, where I earned my BS degree in Elementary Education. I worked as a volunteer in a number of local elementary schools, where I focused on helping students by enhancing their self-confidence, which made them more comfortable in their knowledge of the subject at hand. I get a moment of supreme satisfaction when one of my student's eyes light up and they experience that "aha" moment, where they suddenly push through the obstacles they've been having, and realize a clear understanding of a concept they have been struggling so hard to figure out. I've developed a variety of techniques and methods to enhance my student's engagement and interest in any subject we're working on, and get them excited about learning. I do have experience tutoring students in Common Core and Singapore Math. I am also able to tutor subjects including math at all levels, English, reading and writing, study skills and organization, and more. I have also had success in assisting students who are preparing for standardized tests such as the SSAT, the ISEE, and others. When I'm not teaching, I like to stay active by running and participating in other outdoor activities, as well as reading.
