SebastianI am currently aspiring to become a surgeon but, in the meantime, am passionate about helping other students learn. Presently working on my M.S in Biomolecular Science at Lipscomb University, I enjoy helping students learn algebra, biology, physics, and neurobiology. I can also tutor in ACT math and science subjects and assist with test prep in general. If you need tutoring in high school biology or physics, or even middle school science, I can be of help there too. Throughout my life, I have loved going to school, and my interest in and passion for science is boundless. The sciences can be challenging for some, but I can work to help you understand biology or other subjects on a whole new level.

NicoleI'm attending Vanderbilt University for my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. I'm working towards a minor in biological sciences. I love science and math topics, and my favorites are trigonometry, calculus, economics, and chemistry. I can tutor students in calculus, economics, statistics, trigonometry, thermodynamics, thermochemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, physics, adult literacy, biology, business, and a wide array of other topics. I can also help students prepare for the ACT, AP exams, PSAT, and other standardized admissions and assessment tests. As a tutor, I prioritize helping students understand the fundamental concepts rather than rote memorization because I want students to hone their critical thinking and problem-solving skills to be successful now and in the future. I'm aware that everybody learns differently, so I accommodate my approach to match the needs and learning style of each student I work with. In each session, I will explain a topic, provide practice problems, and let the student work through them to show that they have learned the topic. I've also relate concepts to the real world so that they are easier to understand and easier to retain. Overall, I'm dedicated to helping students reach their goals. In my free time, I enjoy reading, fishing, listening to music, and cats.

Juan PabloI have known that I wanted to be an educator for a long time. I've always enjoyed helping people and seeing them have success. I am a very patient person, and I'm willing to help students by expanding concepts in different ways or reiterating information as much is needed to help them get to the point where they understand a concept. I'm originally from Columbia, but I moved to Chicago to study at the Moody Bible Institute. I can assist students in algebra, geometry, middle school math, pre-algebra, public speaking, ESL, and Spanish. In my free time, I enjoy the theater, carpentry, and music.
