KyleI have over eight years of experience working as an educator in mathematics. My philosophy as a tutor involves finding what makes each student unique and discovering ways of presenting the subject material in a way that is easy for them to understand. I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in middle school teaching. I also completed a master's degree in data processing technology at Southern New Hampshire University. I am able to tutor students in many math related subject areas, including trigonometry, pre-calculus, and applied mathematics, to name a few. I can also help students prepare for the math sections of the SAT and ACT. In my spare time, I enjoy music, sports statistics, and data analytics.

DakotaI have a bachelor's degree in biology from Carthage College. My goal as a tutor is to teach my students the background information behind the problems that challenge them and help them work through individual problems together. I enjoy reading, bowling, playing video games and cards, and staying physically active.

ChristopherUpon graduating from high school, I went on to attend the Urbana-Champaign campus of the University of Illinois, where I then earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I love both learning and tutoring. I had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant during my last few years at college, helping freshman students in the accelerated general chemistry field. With my history in engineering, it's no surprise that I prefer to teach subjects practically rather than theoretically. I have found that my students learn better by concrete examples and hands-on activities, and even discussion of how the knowledge they're learning can be used in the real world.
