SarahI earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and a master's degree in the same field from the University of California-Santa Barbara. After graduation, I worked as a substitute teacher for grades kindergarten through twelve for one academic year before deciding to earn a Ph.D. I have worked with students of all ages, from kindergarten through college-age. I love writing and helping my students develop strong writing skills as well. I can also help with social studies, politics, ESL, essay editing, writing, and more. I enjoy binge-watching Riverdale, running, hiking, cycling, and doing anything to keep active. I am excited to help my students grow and learn.

PaulIn my opinion, this last century has experienced a great evolution in education and learning. The internet allows for students to access more knowledge than ever before, which is a critical part of education today. As an educator, my goal is help students understand coursework and work towards their academic goals. However, I feel the most important part of tutoring is helping students learn how to access information on their own. I used this teaching strategy when I worked as a teacher's assistant at Purdue University, which is where I earned master's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. I was a teaching assistant that worked with experienced scientists in the areas of molecular biology.
