NicholasI earned my bachelor's degree in biology at the University of Florida, where I had the opportunity to take many upper-level science courses. I then went on to the University of South Florida, where I earned a master's degree in medical sciences. In academics, while some courses are easier than others, everyone can excel at any subject with the proper attitude and hard work. As a tutor, I'm very knowledgeable about the subjects I tutor. I'm also easy to get along with and patient. There is no feeling like helping someone work through learning obstacles to find understanding in a subject. I love to learn, and I love to help others learn as well. I can tutor algebra, calculus, elementary and middle school math, Spanish, anatomy and physiology, biology, microbiology, reading, writing, literature, pharmacology, and more. I'm looking forward to a career as a physician in the future. When I have free time, I like lift weights, run, volunteer the hospital, and play games.

JanineI'm attending the University of Central Florida for my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. I'm also earning a computer science minor. I realized how much I enjoyed helping others learn as a college student, helping my peers understand topics that were difficult for them to understand in class. This experience has inspired me to tutor. My prior tutoring experience includes advanced math subjects and chemistry. My favorite tutoring subjects are engineering, statics, algebra, and calculus. I believe that to help students learn successfully, the tutor must be patient, empathetic, and adept at showing how abstract concepts from the material are utilized in real world applications. I can tutor algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary and middle school math, pre-calculus, trigonometry, physics, study skills and organization, statics, and more. In my free time, I like to play video games, read, bake, cook, and do DIY projects.

EricI teach music, humanities, and history at the college level, and I'm also a musician. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of ability. I enjoy tutoring because of the individualized approach, where students and I can connect and have interactive lessons that are catered to the needs of the individual. My tutoring specialty is helping students develop the critical thinking, writing, and reading skills they need to be successful in business and social science courses. I also enjoy teaching students music courses, and specifically jazz improvisation and jazz theory. I'm skilled in jazz improvisation and trumpet.
