I was a student at Truman State University. There, I earned my bachelor's degree in biology and minored in chemistry. While I was a student at Truman State University, I also developed an enjoyment for chemistry. The subject became my favorite, and I almost switched majors. To share my love for chemistry, I've decided to become a tutor. I can help students with chemistry, as well as biology, science, and ACT test prep. I believe in immersion and repetition when tutoring, and have found these methods to help students grow their confidence in their work. When I am not tutoring, I like working out, playing poker and playing the guitar.Education

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Florida, and later received my ESOL endorsement, and have taught students learning English as a second language in a number of settings and age levels. I've also had experience teaching ESL to online students in China, with more than 800 students learning through my lessons. I've been an educator now for more than two decades, and have directed a tutoring enrichment program for elementary and middle school children. My goal with my tutoring students is to show them how to discover the best ways they learn, and give them confidence that for them, that is the right way.Education
