ReneneI like tutoring because it's enjoyable to help others achieve success. I have 25 years of experience as an educator. I taught adult education and in an elementary school classroom for 15 years. For the last decade I've worked as a building administrator. I'm currently the principal of the school of grades K - seven. I attended Andrews University for my master's degree in educational administration leadership, and I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in the same field. I love helping students learn new things and realize their full academic potential. Even in my current role as principal, I get to work with students and provide resources to help them achieve success. I also enjoy working with teachers, and I look forward to teaching future teachers at the college level. In my free time, I like to bake, sing, dance, play with my pets, and spend time with my family.

HopeI have four years of tutoring experience, and during that time I have worked with everyone from kindergarten students to high school students. I enjoy helping students reach their full potential academically. I've had the opportunity to help high school students as a member of AmeriCorps, assist elementary school students in a charter school, and serve as a program director with the Boys and Girls Club. I believe strong communication is vital in tutoring sessions, because it allows me to figure out the student's strengths and interests. I can then build on the strengths and relate concepts to things students are interested in to help them understand concepts better. I can tutor elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, pre-algebra, essay writing and editing, literature reading, English grammar, test preparation for the ACT, and more. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, and go on walks. I also enjoy poetry.

GraziellaAs a tutor, I enjoy helping students work through the course material and assignments to help them realize their academic potential and reach their goals. I love to teach, and I feel lucky that I get to help others learn while I learn from them. I've been tutoring and substitute teaching for two years, and I've enjoyed it so much that I decided to become a teacher instead of a nurse. I'm looking forward to attending graduate school to earn my master's degree in education. I can tutor students in biology, anatomy and physiology, Spanish, English language learning, English, writing, essays, reading, literature, history, psychology, art, religions, nutrition, test preparation, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy riding horses.
