StevenSocial Studies classes have a bad rap for being boring, but I believe that this stereotype can be changed with the right approach. The key is to make the students the center of the class, not the material. This way, you dwell on topics that your students find engaging, often eliciting discussions that prove both enlightening and productive. You'll be amazed at how much better a student can perform once they truly connect with the material. My teaching style is heavily influenced by progressivism, but also draws from perennialism, social reconstructionism, and existentialism. I'm ready and willing to help with subjects such as AP World History, Civics, High School American History, and European History. I can also help students prepare for history-related SAT subject tests and the GRE. Reach out to me today so that we can get started.
