MichaelI worked as an English and foreign language teacher in Izmit, Turkey, and I've also spent time living in and working in Seoul, South Korea. I've worked with students ranging in age from preschoolers to adults. All of my students work at different skill levels, which I can accommodate. I earned my bachelor's degree in 2008 from American University in international relations. My area of focus was in Middle Eastern and European regions. Additionally, I've studied the Arabic language for two years. I hold a TEFL certification from the University of Toronto Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. In order to receive this certification, I needed to partake in a 100 hour course, which taught me a lot about how to be an effective tutor.

CharlesI am an experienced Earth Science teacher who also has a passion for mathematics. I attended CUNY Brooklyn College with the intention of becoming a math teacher, but the lure of Geology enticed me to switch my major. I ended up minoring in mathematics, so I can help students with science and math as a tutor. I also completed a graduate degree in Environmental Science from Concordia University-Portland after completing my undergrad work, giving me two science specialties that I can help students with (three if you distinguish between Earth Science and Geology). In my leisure time, I enjoy rock-collecting, playing bocce, and completing crossword puzzles. Reach out to me today if you struggle in math or science!

AllyssaI studied education at Liberty University earning my bachelor's degree with a focus in elementary education, global studies, and Spanish. I am available to tutor in many subjects such as Spanish, writing, ESL, computer science, literacy, and more. During my time in college, I gained a lot of experience through working in classrooms. I have tutored students one-on-one in third and seventh-grade math. I have spent the majority of my time working with elementary and middle school students, but I love working with all age groups. I currently teach English to non-American students. I love traveling, crafting, cooking, and planning events in my free time. I am hoping to hear from you soon.
