RosaI am a licensed teacher who specializes in working with students with special needs, whether that means ESL, learning difficulties, or simply a lack of motivation to learn how to read. I am trained in AVID techniques, giving me a host of learning strategies that I can use to support students. I am comfortable working with several different topics, including Phonics, Essay Editing, Common Core Mathematics, and Reading. I earned a bachelor's from CSU-Fullerton and a master's in Educational Administration from Concordia University-Irvine, so I have the required expertise to help students reach their academic goals. My interests outside the classroom include reading, movies, and spending time with my dogs and husband (not necessarily in that order).

MonicaI earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California-Berkeley. I love figuring out why people do the things they do and how they handle being in new environments. I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in physical therapy, and I love learning every day. I can help with subjects such as writing, Spanish, math, Japanese, chemistry, literacy, ESL, and grammar. I love learning the Japanese language and learning about the culture as well because I spent a year and a half living in Japan. My favorite topics are Japanese, English, psychology, math, biology, and anatomy. I like practicing yoga, learning Japanese, traveling, and playing sports in my spare time.

BlasI graduated from CSU Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. While I was in college, my friends and classmates often complimented me on my ability to help others with math. As a result, I began tutoring in math and have now done so for six years. I have experience tutoring students from a variety of different backgrounds and at a variety of different levels and age groups. I am available to tutor students in an array of math related subjects, including pre-calculus, geometry, and algebra, among others. Additionally, I can tutor students in science related subjects, such as chemistry and physics. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy business, reading, and sports.
