SebouhI'm a professor who teaches at the community college level. I was inspired to teach in my first semester as a college student, and that desire has never waned. I believe that teaching is more than job. Instead it is a passion. I can help students with biology, nutrition, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, life sciences, pre-calculus, algebra, and other similar subjects. In my spare time, I like to swim, walk, read, volunteer, and ride my bike.

MelissaEverybody has their own unique story, and as a writing teacher and tutor, I seek to help students develop their voice so they can communicate their stories effectively. I love to write, and I was able to spend a summer as a fellow in the Meadowbrook Writing Project. In addition to writing, I can also help students with public speaking, literature, English, and reading.

MeganI graduated from Grand Valley State University, where I studied both physics and English. The contrast between the sciences and arts helped me gain an appreciation for the fact that there are different ways to learn. I had to make adjustments in how I studied and learned throughout my college career, which has provided me with insight into how I can adjust lesson plans for the students I tutor. I tutored students in both the sciences and the arts while I was in college. I am available to tutor students in a variety of different subject areas, including general chemistry, college algebra, reading, English literature and composition, calculus, English, British literature, physics, adult literacy, American literature, world literature, and writing. I have experience teaching through a student teaching program, where I taught in Michigan and Australia. This experience allowed me to combine traveling and teaching, both of which I am very passionate about. My goal in life is to continue being able to meet new people, travel, and develop new relationships. My philosophy as a tutor centers around the fact that a tutor should act as a mentor rather than acting as a replacement to the student's teacher. In terms of hobbies, I enjoy poetry, biking, and swimming.
