KathrynI am a high school English teacher who creates lesson plans for groups of twenty-five or more students for class each day. I believe that this experience has helped me become an effective tutor. I love helping students with reading and writing. I can also tutor in public speaking, English, grammar, and more. I can help students of all ages from elementary school through college. I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Rhode Island College and a master's degree in English from Worcester State University. I enjoy playing chess, reading, hiking, watching hockey, and crocheting in my free time.

GarrettI'm Garrett, and I'm a Cornell University student studying chemistry and taking prerequisites in medicine. I'm currently applying to medical schools. As a tutor, I want to share what I know about science and standardized tests to help students achieve the same kind of success that I have had. In my free time, I like to play the violin, play basketball, read, listen to music, and go to concerts.

ClariceI am currently attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in biochemistry. I enjoy working in a lab, but I also enjoy working with students. When I was in high school, I volunteered at a school and also tutored students in physics. I am currently a part of a club that travels to different schools and gives presentations to high school and middle school students with the goal of getting them interested in science and math. I am comfortable tutoring students in a variety of different subject areas, pre-algebra, microbiology, and chemistry, to name a few. I can also help students prepare for the SAT. In my free time, I enjoy coloring, hiking, running, dancing, and gymnastics.
