TimI am Tim and I am finishing up my bachelor's degree. I am pursuing my Bachelor in Arts in mathematics teacher education from Western Governors University. I hope to teach grades five through 12. During my time as a student, I've been learning a lot about various studying methods that can appeal to students with different learning needs. I have a strong understanding of how to tutor students in math and can create a plan that works best for individuals hoping to reach their goals. I can teach students pre-algebra, middle school math, elementary school math, and algebra. When I am not working towards my degree or tutoring students, I enjoy reading, guitar, and other cultures.

ShawnaI am currently working on a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Washington-Tacoma Campus. I can help with many subjects such as science, pre-algebra, biology, math, English, and geometry. I have experience working with hundreds of children from all different backgrounds through the YMCA. I have struggled to learn myself, and I know how to adapt to stressful situations. I am confident that I have a lot of skills necessary to be successful. I began tutoring at the age of sixteen, and I have tutored two homeschooled children year-round for over two years. In my free time away from school, I like outdoor activities, hiking, cooking, and dancing.
