ZacharyI'm a tutor based in Buffalo, New York, where I enjoy watching French cinema, playing piano, and traveling when I'm not working with students. I'm currently a student pursuing my degree in French adolescence education with minors in Spanish and international studies at Fredonia State University. I plan to study abroad next year in Quebec. At Fredonia I'm working as a tutor at the college's learning center. I work primarily with foreign language learning students, focusing on French and Spanish. I'm also serving as the Vice President of the international club and a secretary in the model UN. I have experience tutoring students from grades seven all the way up to college. I'm extremely passionate about teaching foreign languages, and have been doing so since high school. I firmly believe that every student can master a foreign language if they just put their mind towards doing the work and have the right guidance. As a tutor, I love being able to help my students reach that goal. Ultimately, I want to help you get the most out of your French or Spanish class. Please, contact me if you think I can help!

TrevorI've been looking forward to a career as an educator for the past 10 years. I was inspired to become a teacher by the instructors I worked with through grade school and high school. This inspired me to want to teach other people. I know students have difficulty learning math, and I realized that I could explain things in ways that are easier for students to understand. I have many different creative ways of explaining concepts that differ from how they are presented in the classroom. I can identify the learning style of my student, and then teach them in a way that is effective for their individual learning style and needs. I've been successful with this teaching college level statistics, working as a TA in calculus, and tutoring concepts like fractions to children. I want to help students become confident in their abilities to learn and understand math, so that they develop appreciation for the subject and are driven to learn more. When I have free time, I enjoy gaming and dancing.

JamesMy tutoring theory is that it works the best if it is customized for each person's learning needs. I create custom study and lesson plans for each person once I get to know their specific learning style. I am available to tutor hard sciences, which are my favorite to help with. Even though hard sciences are my favorite, I also help with test prep. I can help with many forms of standardized testing, including the ACT and SAT. as well as subject-tests and math. I recently graduated with my degree in Chemistry from SUNY Geneseo. I also tutored students at SUNY while studying. Since graduating, I have returned to my hometown of Buffalo and began my career in the field of chemistry. Chemistry is a love of mine; in fact, science, in general, is an extreme passion of mine. When I am not teaching or tutoring, you can find me disc golfing or working my part-time job.
