RobertI graduated from the University of North Florida with my bachelor's in middle grade-level math and science education. While studying for my degree, I completed several internships in middle and high schools around Duval County. While interning, I taught science, and honors pre-algebra and geometry to seventh and eighth graders. I work with students in kindergarten through twelfth grades at the St. Johns Learning Center. I tutor them in math and science subjects, as well as prepare them for the ACT and SAT exams. My experiences have allowed me to work with students of all ages, backgrounds, and learning styles in various settings. As a tutor, I am comfortable using different teaching methods and approaches to help a student fully master a subject. I believe tutoring is the ideal path to education, allowing the instructor and student to collaborate on a personalized learning plan. I work to build a strong connection between myself and my student, learning about their motivations, interests, and personality to provide a higher quality of education. I can assist my student with their homework, review material for a test, or build their confidence through numerous activities. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, and surfing.
