MattAs a former Division I college athlete at UConn, I've had to develop incredible study and time management skills in my academic career. I also wasn't sure what I wanted to study in college, so I tried a lot of courses before deciding on international sports promotions is my major. I also minored in communications. As part of this program, I took a lot of Spanish and French classes, including French culture. Another aspect of being a college athlete are the appearances, charity work, and opportunities spend time mentoring children. I enjoy working with kids, and I'm a strong listener and leader. I'm looking forward to helping students learn new skills.

KaleeI currently teach math at the middle school level, and I love my job. I'm well aware of what is required of students in coursework and tests due to my profession. My academic background mostly revolved around music, so I have a lot of unique approaches to help students learn math. I use a lot of activities and movement to help students understand math principles. I also customize my lesson plans to provide activities and skill development that matches the way a student learns. With older students, I get to know them and identify their interests so that I can incorporate these into the lesson to keep them engaged. I don't expect my students to love every subject we study, but I do expect them to enjoy learning. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, listening to music, movies, college football, and more.

JenI have a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University of Florida, and had originally planned to go to law school. However, my love of teaching won out and I went on to complete a master's in Math Education from the University of Central Florida. I have over 15 years tutoring and 10 years of classroom teaching with pupils of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. I have learned that with math, students must have a strong foundation of the basics - even if it means relearning earlier concepts - before they can move on to the more complicated courses. I'm an enthusiastic, upbeat teacher who loves both teaching and learning from my students. I am qualified to help you or your child with Algebra 1, Elementary Math, Calculus 1, Elementary School Math, Geometry, College Algebra, Middle School Math, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Algebra 2, SAT Math, ACT Math, Competition Math, Arithmetic, ACCUPLACER Arithmetic, ACCUPLACER College-Level Math, ACCUPLACER Elementary Algebra, Algebra 3/4, CAHSEE Mathematics, COMPASS Mathematics, Florida EOC Assessment, GED, ASPIRE Math, Pre-Algebra, SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 1, SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 2, Math, SAT Mathematics, SAT, Test Prep, ACT, CAHSEE, ASPIRE, ACT Aspire, and SAT Subject Tests. I have many interests outside of the classroom. I love being outside and playing soccer or walking my dog. I like music, singing, songwriting, photography, and journaling.
