MatthewI'm attending the University of North Florida to earn my bachelor's degree in computing and information sciences. I'm also working on a minor in math and concentrating in computer science. I love STEM topics, and it's my goal to become a professional software engineer. As a tutor, I primarily help students in computer science topics including web development, data structures, and software engineering. My other main focus is a tutor is math, and I can help students with pre-calculus, algebra, geometry, and foundational math topics. I adapt to the needs of my student and to their learning style. My goal is not just to help you get through the course, but to give you a foundational knowledge so you can apply what you've learned and become self-sufficient as a learner. If any approaches I try do not work, I will be persistent and try other things until you feel comfortable in your mastery of a concept. Problem-solving skills are priority. In the real world, you are likely to face unique problems without documented answers, and it will be up to you to find the solution. I want to equip you with this capability so that you can succeed in whatever you do.

ChristinaI'm currently teaching language arts to fourth-graders. I have four years of professional teaching experience, and eight years of experience in tutoring and education. I'm currently pursuing a graduate degree in literacy from Jacksonville University, and I have an elementary education bachelor's degree that I earned at Flagler College. At Flagler, I also earned ESOL and Reading endorsement for kindergarten through 12th grade students. I love teaching students, and especially enjoy working with students who are experiencing difficulty. I've tutored math and reading, and I've taught these subjects to elementary school students as well. I look forward to the opportunity to work any student I can help with these topics.
