JosephHi, my name is Joseph. I'm a certified tutor who has a bachelor's degree in physics from Cornell University, where I also concentrated on economics. I have experience working as a tutor in a variety of settings and subject areas. Specifically, I started a successful peer advising and tutoring program for the physics department at Cornell. As a private tutor, I'm able to help my students with things like algebra, calculus, physics, standardized test preparation, and more. Consider reaching out to me if you feel that you would benefit from having extra help with your education. I'd love to use my experience as an educator to help you pursue your goals.

Andrew"Why do I need to learn this?" Many teachers dread this question, and students are very fond of asking it. I, however, view this as one of the best questions a student can ask. It is my goal not to raise test grades (that's often an added bonus), but instead motivate my students to use their academic performance as a barometer for how much they are actually learning. My teaching style is best described as a conversation in which we both ask each other questions about the material being studied. I will ask you to work hard, and you might complain about it on occasion. However, your schoolwork will seem much easier after you do everything I ask you to. You are more capable than you think, and the right tutor is all you need to access your potential.

AlyssaI am currently studying early childhood and childhood education at SUNY Fredonia with a focus in Spanish. I am an aspiring educator who loves helping students grow and learn. I make sure to teach my students that everyone is able to do great things, and I help students figure out their strengths and weaknesses. I can help with many subjects such as writing, math, algebra, Latin, English, and more. I can work with students of all ages from kindergarten through high school. In my spare time, I like cooking, listening to music, playing tennis, and learning languages. Together we can break down the barriers in the way of your education.
