TiffanyI'm a tutor currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah. When I'm not working with students I love playing the ukulele, singing, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. I have a bachelor's degree in physics education with a minor in math education from BYU, Idaho. Currently, I work as a student teacher focusing on physics at a high school here in Utah. I've always had a deep passion for the fields of math and science because of the necessity of solid problem-solving skills required in the subjects. I'm especially passionate about algebra because I love the logic of it. I've worked as an independent tutor for the last eight years in the fields of math and science, and have really gotten a lot out of it. Each student I work with is unique, and I ensure that I incorporate whatever makes that particular student special into my lesson plans for them. I've worked with mostly middle and high school-aged students in the past, but have also worked with elementary and college-aged students from time to time. I hope that I can use the skills I've spent my career developing to help you reach all of your educational goals.

RaulI'm a tutor based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I enjoy reading, whitewater rafting, and going to the gym outside of the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in history with a minor in Arabic from Brigham Young University-Provo, along with a master's degree in public affairs and applied statistics from the University of Texas at Austin. As a native Spanish speaker, I taught Spanish during undergrad to help pay for school. I prided myself as a tutor who could provide Spanish-learners with a down to earth explanation of what they wanted to know, and was a willing conversational partner for those trying to practice the ebb and flow of the language. I've also used my Spanish language skills as a court interpreter in Utah. I've tutored both high school and college students in statistics, and am currently working for a research company where I write statistical programs to analyze data. I enjoy tutoring because I love the feeling I get when I help people understand a concept that they previously were really struggling with. That moment of clarity is why I do what I do. I hope that I can use these skills to help you reach all of your educational goals.

JosephI'm a tutor who is based in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I enjoy running, hiking, and studying psychology when I'm not working with students. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, as I believe that learning is one of the main purposes of our time here on earth. Getting an education allows a person to better provide for themselves financially as well as to have a better quality of life. My passion for learning is why I was drawn to the field of tutoring. I believe that every student has the ability to excel in whatever subject they are trying to learn with the proper guidance. As a tutor, I focus on the individual that I'm working with above all else. I create targeted, individualized lesson plans that take the talents, abilities, and desires of the individual into account. Rather than focus only on improving my students' test grades, I want to help them value learning for learning's sake, like I do. The field of education, in my opinion, too often focuses on the results and not the process. When the field does this, students tend not to fall in love with learning, and often struggle because of that failure. I seek to help correct this through my tutoring sessions. I want all of my students to be self-sufficient, and to seek knowledge for the rest of their lives without being asked to by a teacher. I can use my passion for learning and education to help you reach your goals.
