ZacharyI'm a stonemason and geologist, and I enjoy tutoring students in physical science, earth science, environmental science, and geology. I spent six years studying these topics in depth, and I like to show students how concepts relate to applications in the real world. The subjects I tutor are used in everyday in environmental studies, technology, and math, so there are lots of examples I can provide. I also encourage students to develop a love of learning in my sessions. I will work alongside my students and do whatever it takes to help them achieve success. In addition to stone working, I also enjoy woodworking, gardening, hiking, and listening to bluegrass music.

TraceyI'm a patient, optimistic, and encouraging tutor with a sense of humor that middle school and elementary school level children enjoy. I like to work with students on math topics and explain why concepts are important and how they are used in the real world. I help students understand math, but I also help them understand their own learning tendencies and talents. I'm an experienced math teacher at the middle school level, and I worked with many students who are anxious about math or felt that they didn't like it. My bachelor's degree is in elementary education, and my concentration was math at the middle school level. I really enjoy working with middle school students and helping them learn new things. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching television, pets, sports, and photography.

DilbarI have both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in math. I love the subject and love to teach it to others. I've had the opportunity to tutor and teach math for several years, and I've worked with students at all levels of ability from many different backgrounds. I'm adept at explaining math topics using simple and concise instructions. Also I am very patient with my students, and I will work at their pace and let them take as long as they need to feel comfortable with a concept. I also enjoy using visuals and other means to explain difficult concepts. It's very rewarding to see my students make progress in math. I can tutor algebra, calculus, differential equations, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, multivariable calculus, finite math, discrete math, elementary and middle school level math, and IB and AP math courses. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, shopping online, and traveling.
