AmberlieI recently received my Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry from the University of Cincinnati. I also have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a biology associate's degree. After graduating with my doctorate, I relocated to D.C. I love living in D.C. I also love tutoring students in a wide variety of subjects. I especially enjoy teaching chemistry, in addition to editing, writing, and critical thinking. I approach tutoring sessions with a supportive and enthusiastic approach. I hope to inspire students to apply themselves to their coursework. I have five years of experience tutoring high school and college students in science courses. When I'm not tutoring, I like to walk my dog, cook, watch sci-fi movies, and restore furniture.

AdamI earned a bachelor's degree in economics with an actuarial math minor. Right now I am trying to earn a fellowship with the Actuary Society, so I am working with math all day. I can help with math, discrete math, economics, statistics, algebra, calculus, and more. As a tutor, my aim is to help my students grow a conceptual comprehension of the math they are learning so they can grasp the material and apply it to the world around them. In addition to solving numerous math problems, I like being active in the gym or running. I also enjoy just reading books outdoors. I am excited to help new students in their academic endeavors.
