NathanielHi, my name is Nate. I am working on an undergraduate degree from University of Kentucky in Chemical Engineering, with a focus in Environmental and Biopharmaceutical Engineering. I have a strong STEM subject background, and I am enthusiastic about those subjects. I am able to share that enthusiasm with my students, and help them learn the material and feel more comfortable with it. A few of the subjects I tutor are Math, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Science.

JasonI think all students are capable of learning given the proper environment and resources. When I work with students, I try to make students comfortable and maintain a consistent environment to help students to engage, understand the relevancy of topics we study to the real world, and be active learners. At the end of the tutoring program, I want students to have a fundamental understanding of the topic, pride in their accomplishments, and a sense of community. My ultimate goal as an educator is to help students learn how to learn, understand their role in the world, and have the drive to contribute to the community. I can tutor English, essay writing, literature, reading, public speaking, and SAT, PSAT, and other test preparation.

AnthonyI have a decade of experience as a teacher and tutor. This includes a year of teaching English as a second language to kindergarten students in Thailand, three years of experience teaching English as a second language for K - 12 students, and two years of creative writing teaching for college students at Notre Dame. I've been studying Mandarin Chinese for the past three years myself, so I know how difficult it is to learn a new language. I also appreciate the value of immersion. I can assist students in writing, English grammar, literature, essays, reading, general elementary and middle school subjects, adult literacy, ESL, TOEFL, test preparation, and more. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing martial arts, reading, running, writing, watching movies, and playing board games and card games.
