ShaneseI earned my bachelor's degree in history from the New York University, and went on to each my master's degree in the education of individuals in elementary special education programs from the Metropolitan College of New York. As a tutor, I am creative and patient, and bring a great enthusiasm to each lesson, which tends to be contagious for my students. I put each individual's needs at the center of our time together, so I have developed a number of methods of tutoring based on their unique qualities. I work with elementary and middle school students on core subjects, and others like computers and preparation for standardized exams, from the PARCC to the STAAR, and many others.

JedidiahI am the first to admit that my tutoring experience is limited. I volunteered to teach accounting in students in Africa for three months, but that's the extent of my experience. However, Accounting is a field where I feel practical experience should trump academic learning. I am a licensed CPA who holds an MBA. I have served as an auditor for BDO (an international accounting firm) and controlled the finances of two separate companies. I know my way around balance sheets and income statements, and I can teach it to others. Outside of business, I enjoy bowling, meditation, and tennis. Please reach out to me if you could use a little assistance with College Accounting, High School Accounting, Managerial Accounting, or Business classes.

ConnorI hold a Bachelor of Science in Game and Interactive Media Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), giving me the skills needed to tutor students in subjects such as Game Design, Coding, Programming, Computer Skills, and Computer Science over the past seven years. I was also a pretty good high school student, so I can help with REGENTS prep, AP Government and Politics, Algebra, High School Writing, and Environmental Science too. I love to help people with their academics, but I also love to make people laugh. My tutoring style tries to combine both, creating an engaging study session that helps students develop a firmer grasp of the material. My other hobbies include watching anime, learning new things, hiking, improv comedy, and learning new things. Please use the contact info below to ask any questions you have!
