ShilpaI'm currently studying at Valparaiso University, where I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry. I have more than five years of experience tutoring students in both middle and high school, mostly in science and math subjects. I've also worked as a teaching assistant in chemistry and as a mentor for peers in the general chemistry department. I have also taken a number of classes in education, and conducted biochemical research at different universities. I believe that each student is able to reach their goals, and that each student has their own unique set of learning needs. This is why I accommodate each student with customized lesson plans.

HeraldI have been a math educator for 37 years. I absolutely love teaching math and can't see myself doing anything else. I currently work as a high school math teacher, however, I additionally work part-time as a college math teacher. My own children have grown up and are out of the house, which has freed up my time. With my free time, I started tutoring. I can tutor students in algebra, algebra 2, AP calculus AB, calculus, calculus 2, math, pre-algebra, pre-calculus, and trigonometry. My approach to teaching is related to discovery. I think that learning is mainly discovery, including the discovery of ideas, connections, and patterns, especially in the subject of math.
