VictorI am a recent California State University - Los Angeles graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering. In addition to my understanding of mechanical engineering, I also have experience with tutoring. I have tutored students in pre-algebra up to pre-calculus, and can help students with ACT math, algebra, college application essays, elementary school math, English, ESL/LL, essay editing, HSPT math prep, math, pre-algebra, test prep, and trigonometry. I understand that certain areas of study are difficult for students, which is why I go about tutoring with a simple and straight forward approach. I am very patient and don't mind taking the time to study educational materials in-depth to be sure students are getting the most out of our sessions.

MartinI earned my associate's degree in mathematics from Crafton Hills College. As a tutor, my goal is to make sure that every student has a better understanding of the material when they leave than before they walked in. I can help students with many subjects such as test prep, trigonometry, algebra, computer science, Spanish, and numerous others. A typical session lasts an hour and a half, but if a student is interested in the material and has more questions, I am happy to stay past the hour and a half. When I am not tutoring, I like hanging out with friends, watching ASL videos, learning new languages, and reading. I look forward to meeting you.

CherylMy name is Cheryl, and I enjoy helping students by building on top of their existing knowledge to grow their learning and reach the point of understanding. I figure out where my students need extra help and then provide assignments and support to help them fill the gaps.
