MichaelI'm originally from Belarus, but my family moved to Minnesota in the 1990s and I graduated from a US high school. I then enlisted in the Army, but was injured during my service after serving for 14 months. I then went on to the University of Minnesota to earn my bachelor's degree in political science. I traveled extensively throughout my life, and I recently studied and worked in Israel. I'm now pursuing an education degree from the University of Minnesota. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in writing, reading, literature, English grammar, essays, history, government, world religions, public speaking, political science, and computer science. When I have free time, I enjoy studying US history, civil rights, and mythology. I also like to read, play video games, swim, and ride my bike.

AdrienneCinema and Media Culture is what my bachelor's degree is in, and I am passionate about arts, writing, and film. I am also very passionate about expression of any kind. I am most happy when I am encouraging people to find a level of expression in them that they haven't tapped into. Some of the things I help people achieve are mental clarity, assistance with growing their ideas, opening them up to different methods of learning, and more. I often help my close family and friends in areas such as writing, reading, and math. My tutoring philosophy is to get to know my students on a personal basis and then develop a lesson plan that suits them best. I believe one of the most important things to do as a teacher is to take into consideration each pupil's best qualities and strengths. I also believe in positive reinforcement and encouragement. I am a very patient person, which makes my students comfortable asking all of their questions. If I am not teaching, I can be found at the movie theater, hanging out in cafes, or marveling over my two cats. I am looking forward to getting to know you or your child.
