MiguelI like tutoring because I enjoy helping my students gain confidence and awareness that is required to further their education. I think my volunteer and professional experience make me a great candidate for tutoring. I am capable of multitasking, and I have a strong attention to detail. I am eager to bridge the academic gap. I earned my bachelor's degree in business from Berkeley College-New York. I can help with many subjects such as test prep, Spanish, study skills, algebra, and more. When I am not tutoring or teaching, I have many interest and hobbies. I enjoy doing things outdoors, weightlifting, traveling, and playing sports. I am excited to meet new students.

JordanI'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, with a possible minor in literature, English, or art history. I have experience tutoring a number of subjects to students as young as elementary school and as advanced as college. My favorite subjects revolve around the arts and literature, so my specialty is writing and English, along with literature analysis and critique. I tutor my students with the goal of expanding their mind, the way they think about things, rather than just preparing them for a test. Helping them learn to perceive and analyze the world through critical thinking benefits them in the current subject, and in all areas of their future.
